refill instruction (english)
Blocked Cartridges
Place the blocked cartridge into ¼ to ½ inch of printhead cleaner called "DüsenClean". Leave to stand for a few minutes. When the ink begins to flow from the outlet holes, remove the cartridge from the printhead cleaner and dry with a soft cloth.Return the cartridge to the printer and run the cleaning/priming cycle as per your printer instructions. You may have to do this a few times until you regain the print quality.
IMPORTANT
Always refill the cartridge as soon as the warning light sign is shown.

- Turn the cartridge upside down, to remove the plastic film that seals the filling hole.
- Using a ballpoint pen push the ball bearing into the cartridge.
- Place the needle onto the syringe and fill with ink.
- SLOWLY inject the ink into the filling hole.
- Seal the hole with the stoppers provided. This must be airtight, if not the cartridge will leak. If the hole and stopper is not airtight then secure and seal with strong adhesive tape.
- Turn the cartridge the correct way up, ink will leak from the print heads. Blot the print heads with tissue for 2 minutes to remove any excess ink.
- Important - DO NOT leave the cartridge standing on the tissue.
- Clean the syringe with water and dry.
- Leave the cartridge to stand on an non absorbent surface over night, to ensure no leakage.
- Install the cartridge into the printer and run a priming/cleaning cycle as pre printer instructions.

- The filling holes are located on top of the cartridge and are sealed with small-vented plugs.
- Push the plugs into the cartridge using a ballpoint pen.
- Assemble the needle and syringe and fill with appropriate colour ink.
- Insert needle into the centre of the cartridge.
- Important - The cartridge contains a sponge so a slight resistance will be felt.
- SLOWLY inject the ink.
- Blot the print heads with tissue to remove any excess ink before continuing next colour.
- Important - Do not reseal the filling holes, clean syringe with water and dry before refilling with another colour.
- Leave the cartridge to stand over night on a protective, non- absorbent surface to ensure no leakage and to give the ink time to saturate the sponge.
- Important – Do not leave on tissue.
- Install the cartridge into the printer and run a priming /cleaning cycle, pre printer instructions.

- Turn the cartridge upside down so that the print head faces upwards. Next to the print head you will find a labyrinth with a little vent hole. Tape this hole with adhesive tape. Now you can refill the cartridge.
- Turn the cartridge back to the original position and press the ball on the top into the cartridge(1). If your cartridge has no ball, drill a hole using a 1/8th inch drill bit (2).
- Place the needle onto the syringe and fill it with ink.
- To avoid damaging the air bag in the cartridge, only insert the needle approx. 0.4 inch. Now fill the cartridge with 38 cc at maximum (3).
- SLOWLY inject the ink into the filling hole. When the ink overflows from the filling hole or the print heads the cartridge is full, stop filling immediately.
- Draw the provided air syringe up to the 6 cc marking. Place the air syringe onto the centre aperture and press the air into the cartridge (4).
- Before removing the air syringe seal the filling hole with the provided plug (5). The hole must be sealed air tight, otherwise ink will leak. If the filling hole cannot be sealed air tight with the plug, secure the plug with strong adhesive tape.
- Blot the print heads with tissue to remove excess ink. Do not leave the cartridge on the tissue. Remove the adhesive tape from the aperture at the labyrinth.
- Leave the cartridge to stand over night on a protective, non-absorbent surface to ensure no leakage.
- Return the cartridge to the printer and run a cleaning/priming cycle as per your printer instructions

- Carefully remove the top of the cartridge with a penknife/Stanley knife, by cutting along the seal.
- Pull out the piston rod of the syringe, then place the needle onto the syringe and pierce the needle into the aperture of the cartridge. The needle must be inserted to the bottom of the cartridge.
- ATTENTION: The cartridge contains a sponge so slight resistance will be felt.
- Now fill 6cc of the appropriate colour ink into the piston of the syringe. The sponge on the inside will absorb the ink appropriately. The saturation process can take a few minutes. Repeat this process for the other colour chambers.
- ATTENTION: The ink level must not be above the sponge.
- Blot the print heads with tissue to remove excess ink before continuing with the next colour.
- ATTENTION: Do not reseal the filling holes.
- Leave the cartridge to stand over night on a protective, non-absorbent surface to ensure no leakage and to give the ink time to saturate the sponge.
- ATTENTION: DO NOT LEAVE the cartridge on tissue.
- Return the cartridge to the printer and run a cleaning/priming cycle as per your printer instructions.

- Remove the label at the top of the cartridge to expose the sponge.
- Assemble the needle and syringe and fill with 10cc of ink.
- Insert the needle into the cartridge chamber; insert the needle as far as you can then draw back about 1/16 to 1/8 of an inch.
- Very Slowly inject the ink to the cartridge sponge, (you need to allow time for the ink to saturate the sponge) slowly with drawing the needle at the same time.
- When ink bubble start to form at the top of the vent hole the cartridge is full.
- Remove the needle from the cartridge and return any unused ink to the bottle.
- Clean and dry the needle and syringe in warm water.
- Leave the cartridge to stand for a few minutes.
- Return the cartridge to the printer and run a cleaning/priming cycle as per your printer instructions.

- Remove the label from the top of the printer to expose the filling holes.
- Tape over the hole that you are not refilling.
- Assemble the needle and syringe and fill with 5cc of the appropriate colour ink.
- Insert the needle into the sponge chamber as far as you can then with draw the needle about 1/6 to 1/8 of an inch.
- Very slowly inject the ink into the cartridge sponge (you need to allow the ink time to saturate the sponge) at the same time withdraw the needle slightly.
- When ink start to form at the vent holes the cartridge is full.
- Remove the needle from the cartridge and return any used ink to the bottle.
- Clean and dry the needle and syringe with warm water.
- Repeat the process until all colour chambers have been refilled, being very careful to keep the holes for each colour covered.
- Allow the cartridge to stand for a few minutes
- Remove the tape from the filling holes.
- Return the cartridge to the printer and run a cleaning/priming cycle as per your printer instructions.
